NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2023-2024 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Starbuck School District No. 35, Columbia County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a public hearing on June 28, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of receiving comments on the 2023-2024 budget, the four-year budget plan, and four-year enrollment projections for the ensuing fiscal year.  The meeting will be available for viewing through Zoom, and held in-person at 717 Tucannon Street, Starbuck, Washington.  (Note:  Any person may be heard for or against any part of the 2022-2023 budget.  Please call 509-399-2381, or email cfoxboyer@starbuck.k12.wa.us for the Zoom link).  Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall hold a regular meeting where they shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2023-2024 budget and shall, by Resolution, adopt the 2023-2024 budget, the four-year budget plan, and four-year enrollment projections.  Information for the 2023-2024 budget may be obtained by contacting Gerald Grubbs, Superintendent, at 509-399-2381.
